Insanity Family

The Kook Family Backwards ISBI!

Liebster Award

on May 18, 2015

First of all I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Somebodysangel13 for nominating me for this award! This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me and it’s made me extremely happy!

This award helps to spread the word about great blogs with under 3000 followers. It’s a great way to share some love and learn about some interesting blogs.

The Rules:

1. Post the award on your blog.

2. Thank the blogger who presented the award and link back to their blog.

3. Nominate 5-11 bloggers whom you feel deserve this award and have fewer than or equal to 3,000 followers.

4. Answer 11 questions posted by the nominator, and ask your nominees 11 questions.

My Nominees:

The Danevbie Legacy – by sErindeppity: This is an amazing story and one I always look forward to reading. And sErin has been a big inspiration for me to keep going with my own story about this Kooky family.

The Kanto Legacy – by EarthQueenAmi: A casual rainbow legacy where the generations follow the Kanto region. The family members are fun to read about and they’re always getting up to stuff.

The Dysfunkshinul Legacy – by Gryffindork7 (Sam): Another inspiration to my Kooky family. The Langurds are a crazy bunch who don’t care about the rules. This story is full of laughs and fun Sims 3 shenanigans.

Insanity Doesn’t Compare – by Jax: An ISBI about a family who are just as crazy (if not crazier) than the Kooks! Jax is currently running a Bachelorette Challenge within the ISBI and it’s great fun to watch the victims… I mean contestants win the heart of the newest TH.

Future of the Fae – by Paige795: Another amazing story that I always look forward to reading. The universe the story takes place in is my favourite aspect!

The Lightning Alphabetcy – by Heather: While Heather also writes the Zale Family ISBI, I’m nominating her for this story because it’s the first legacy by her that I’ve read and I actually liked it’s switch to the Sims 4. And overall it’s fun to read with a household that’s always overflowing with kids!

Of Kings and Castles – by Tota: A Royal Kingdom Challenge with a laid back narrative to showcase the lives of the citizens of Castle Keep. The level of attention to detail in Tota’s sims and the surrounding medieval environment truly make this story come alive.

Questions Asked by Somebodysangel13:

1. Would you rather have a face clone heir or a Face One heir?

I would rather have a face clone heir. While I have trouble seeing Face Ones I think I’d rather try again with a face clone than breed out the genetics of a Face One. 🙂

2. If you could change one aspect of TS3, what would it be?

The “Ask for Bedtime Story” interaction for children. I’d say it’s one of the worst things for an ISBI! Maybe not take it out completely but tone it down a bit.

3. What is your favourite expansion pack? Why? (cliched, but a classic)

I can’t say I have an absolute favourite. I own all of them and use pretty much all of them during game play. I can say that the one I was most excited about buying was Supernatural since I love supernatural stuff. I have yet to incorporate anything Supernatural into the Kook BISBI though… hopefully someday!

4. Who is your favourite spare in your challenge/legacy?

Oh! That’s a tough one! I’d have to pick Hannah though, Anakin’s daughter from Generation One. Even though she wouldn’t have been an eligible heir she’s my favourite from all the alien pregnancies.

5. Who was the very first sim you created in CAS? Were they based on anyone?

I can’t even remember the very first sim I created. I started playing with TS1 when I was 11 years old (I think) and I’m now 25 so that was a VERY long time ago. I don’t think my first sim was based on anyone though.

6. If you could create a new TS3 EP, what would it be?

If I could I would create a Medieval/Fantasy expansion pack. They can go to the future, why can’t they go back in time as well? And on that note, why not go back as far as the Stone Age? The sims could have little dinosaur pets like the Dragons from Dragon Valley!

7. If you could only eat one food/meal for the rest of your life (assuming it could sustain you), what would it be?

Chicken. There is so much you can do with chicken.

8. What was your favourite childhood movie?

Besides anything and everything Disney? I watched, on a fairly regular basis, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze every time I went to see my grandparents when I was a kid. Eventually my family got sick of watching it with me and bought me the first one to watch at home.

9. Did you play video games as a child, or only started when an adult?

I played video games as a kid but only for limited amounts of time. For example 30 mins to 1 hour which is hard to get ANYTHING done, but it was my parents rule. They preferred it if I spent time in the GREAT OUTDOORS! *shudder* Lol. 😛 As I got older I got more into gaming.

10. What animal would you most want as a pet? (fantasy/extinct animals allowed!)

A white tiger… assuming it wouldn’t eat me. Currently I have a dog disguised as a cat though! I’m not even joking, my cat is the weirdest cat ever.

11. Do you believe in true love? Is there only one out there for everybody?

Yes, I believe in true love. However, I don’t believe true love only happens in a romantic sense. Take from that what you will. As for there only being one out there for everyone, no. True love is nurtured and cherished and takes time to grow into the wonderful thing that it is.

Questions for my Nominees:

1. Salty or Sweet? What’s your favourite snack food?

2. If you could BE any animal (real or fantasy) what would you be? Why?

3. Who is your favourite Sim you’ve ever created or had in a legacy/challenge?

4. Do you play any boardgames or card games? If yes, what’s your favourite? If no, why not?

5. Besides The Sims games, do you play any other console, PC, mobile games?

6. If someone wanted to turn your story into a novel/graphic novel would you let them? Would you change anything?

7. What is your favourite movie of all time?

8. Which Sims game do you like best (1, 2, 3, or 4) and why?

9. On the flip side, which Sims game (1, 2, 3 or 4) do you like the least and what would make it better? (Give as much or as little detail as you want!)

10. If you met a genie what would you wish for? (You have up to three wishes, share 1, 2 or all!)

11. What is your favourite day of the week?
